The Bangladesh Cricket Team has appeared in five World Cups before the 2019 edition. They are ranked seventh coming into the tournament and are ahead of Sri Lanka and West Indies.
In 32 World Cup matches so far, they have won 11, lost 20 and one game ended in a no-result. They have managed to beat some strong teams like Pakistan, India, South Africa and England (twice); and have lost all matches against New Zealand, West Indies, Australia and Sri Lanka.
When it comes to ODIs in England, they have managed to win only 4 out of 18.
Bangladesh start their World Cup 2019 campaign against South Africa on 2 June 2019 at The Oval.
