WINDIES

The Windies Cricket Team has been a part of the World Cup tournament right from its inception in 1975. They have qualified for the World Cup 2019 by winning the Qualifiers in Zimbabwe. They are ranked 8th in the ICC ODI Team Rankings.

In 11 previous editions of the World Cup, they have managed to reach the Semi-Final stage 4 times and have managed to take the trophy home in the first two editions.

In 71 World Cup matches, they have won 41 matches, lost 29 matches and one match ended in no result. The Windies have won both the World Cups in England. They haven't lost a single match against Bangladesh. They have managed to win only 1 match against England in 6 encounters.

Out of 72 ODIs played in England, the Windies have won 35 matches, lost 32 matches, one match ended in a tie and 4 matches ended in no result.

Windies will start their World Cup 2019 campaign against Pakistan on 31 May 2019 at Nottingham.
